The Blind Side

HEY GUYS! Have you all caught "The Blind Side"?
I know its no longer showing in the cinemas but I just caught it last night!
It was AWESOME!

It's based on the TRUE STORY of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle.

The casts really looks like the people in real lives! I heard that he is the highest-paying player for his position right now in football!

Check out how he looks like in person:

I'm amazed because:

Instead of being discriminated, the white family took in a total stranger and treated him like their own.

Instead of giving up on a boy who couldn't write for his examination, they coached him and the teachers patiently gave him oral examination so that he could eventually get into university!

Instead of giving up his life because of his family situation and his part, Michael lives in the present and for the future.

Because of his upbringing, Michael was an easily contented person.

GO CATCH IT IF YOU'VE NOT!

-Karen
